Renowned jewelry designer David Yurman started his brilliant carrier as a sculptor, and developed his skills over two decades as an apprentice with famous artists Theodore Roszak and Jacques Lipchitz. He also worked closely with sculptor Hans Van de Bovenkamp in New York City during the late 1960’s when he met his wife Sybil Kleinrock.

A unique piece of jewelry designed by David Yurman for his wife Sybil caught the eye of a gallery owner and the couple, seeing an opportunity launched the brand and company, David Yurman in 1980. Soon, David Yurman became famous for his iconic cable bracelet, a twisted helix featuring gemstones on its final ends. Today, David Yurman’s collection features unique pieces of jewelry for men and woman, and for every occasion. It is very exciting to see elements of his signature designs in his innovative bridal collection.
