The Romans associated topaz with Jupiter, who also is the god of the sun. Topaz are known to bring calm and happiness.
Topaz has an exceptionally wide color range that, besides brown, includes various tones and saturations of blue, green, yellow, orange, red, pink, and purple. Colorless topaz is plentiful, and is often treated to give it a blue color.
Blue Topaz was once the rarest color of topaz, but today it is the most common, thanks to a stable color enhancement process developed in the 1970s.
This Noam Carver ring features a London blue topaz set in a unique halo of baguette shaped and round diamonds. The yellow gold setting compliments well the unique shade of blue of the stone.
We love the slight green hue of London Blue topaz. Ancora Designs has created a beautiful white gold setting with vintage touches and a hint of rose gold.
Sam Woehrmann signature bezel setting looks gorgeous with a blue topaz marquise. We also love the combination of white and yellow gold.
