Yes! We've met each other's families. Our families have actually met each other, too. We love how they all get along – and they love how much we love one another. Of course. Our families act like we’re married, even though we’re not. Correct! Wrong! DO YOU LIVE TOGETHER? OR HAVE YOU TALKED ABOUT IT? No way! I’m not ready to move in! No, I think it’s still too soon to move in together, but I’m hopeful we’ll get there. Not yet, but we’ve talked about possibly trying it out when our leases are up next year. Yes, recently! So far, it’s going pretty well (though he really should clean his dishes more often than once a week…) Yes, for at least a year now. I really love seeing both of our names on the mailbox. (And I can’t wait for our last names to be the same!) Correct! Wrong! HAVE YOU TALKED ABOUT MARRIAGE? No, not at all. I’m too scared it’ll totally freak my partner out. Not about marrying each other, but when we’d see someone getting married on TV or a movie. Not extensively, but we’ve both discussed how we’d like to get married one day. Yes. We’ve both talked about how we can see our relationship heading down the alter and that we really love each other. Yes! He’s asked about my ring size and I’m pretty sure he follows my wedding ideas Pinterest board. Correct! Wrong! IN YOUR HEART-OF-HEARTS, HOW SERIOUS DO YOU THINK YOUR PARTNER FEELS ABOUT YOU? I really have no idea. My partner doesn’t express a lot of emotions. I know my partner likes me, but I’m not sure about love yet. I feel like my partner is starting to truly and really fall for me, just like I am for my partner. I know my partner loves me and is dedicated to our relationship. My partner is madly in love with me and I have zero doubts about it. Correct! Wrong! CLOSE YOUR EYES. IMAGINE YOURSELF FIVE, TEN OR FIFTEEN YEARS FROM NOW. CAN YOU COMFORTABLY (AND EASILY) IMAGINE YOUR LIFE WITH YOUR PARTNER? No. I don’t feel like I’ve known my partner long enough to feel like we're always going to be together. Maybe. I’m very happy, but I’m still doubting if my partner is the in-it-for-the-long-haul person for me. Possibly. We have so much fun together and it’s exciting to dream up ideas, but that’s what it feels like: ideas, not plans. Yes! When I think of us down the road, it somehow feels right. Absolutely. I can’t and don’t want to picture my life with anyone but my partner. Correct! Wrong! HOW HAS YOUR PARTNER BEEN ACTING LATELY THAT MAKES YOU WONDER ABOUT ENGAGEMENT PLANS? Nothing strange, I’m just anxious for our relationship to move to the next level. My partner has been more touchy-feely than ever! Always holding my hand and wanting to kiss me. My partner has been asking me about what I want in the future. Do I want kids? Do I want to live in a city or the suburbs? All these questions have me wondering if he’s imagining a life with me. My partner has casually dropped hints by asking me when I see myself getting engaged and asking for my dad’s phone number. I feel like something's up! My partner asked for my ring size and my friends are acting like they know something I don’t. We also have planned a Saturday for us a few weeks from now – and my partner never, ever plans that far in advance Correct! Wrong! WHAT'S YOUR PARTNER'S FINANCIAL SITUATION? Eek! We haven’t talked about money yet. I’m not sure exactly. I know my partner has a good job, but I’m not positive about savings or anything else. Good! My partner is finally starting to save money post-college and is at least somewhat happy with the job. Great. My partner seems comfortable, which makes me feel comfortable, too. Awesome, I think.
