Lacey and Danette

The proposal

My fiancé Danette and I have been together for 6 years all together since high school. We are high school sweethearts. I love her with all my heart and can’t wait to be her wife this year on 12-12-12. We got engaged in Febuary in Sedona. We spent the whole weekend away and had no idea what she had under her belt. We were sitting in our hotel because it was so cold outside and I was just recovering from a super bad cold and she walked into the room and was in there for a long time. In the meantime I was watching tv in the living room of our hotel and I was worried about her so I yelled “babe are you ok”?!? And she came out of the room and said” I don’t know how to say this or what to say but will you marry me”?!? I was in shock and said yes. We then stared to cry out of excitement and we both looked at each other and said ” why are we crying”?!! We then just laughed and then started calling the family with the news. After we get married this year, we plan on starting a family and having kids.

The tattoos

Our hand tattoo’s symbolize our love for one another. The date at the bottom is our anniversary date since we have been together since this time.

We also have “I love you” tattoos! Mine is on my foot, in her handwritting and her’s is on her forearm in my handwriting.

The ring

My ring is 3 1/2 carat tear drop amethyst because purple is my favorite color. It is surrounded with diamonds all around. It’s beautiful!!!
