A crash and burn marriage proposal is everyone’s worst nightmare. After all the weeks of planning and investing in that perfect proposal, it’s really disheartening to see it all come crashing down into an explosion of fail.

The website Failedproposals.com is an entire blog devoted to the awkward and embarrassing failed marriage proposal. Some failed proposals featured is one of a guy getting turned down at a hockey game, and another is of a guy who proposed at a basketball game while dressed like the teams’ mascot (which drove his poor girlfriend to tears).

Because we try to put a positive spin on the engagement process, don’t let these failed proposals discourage you. In fact, watch them and learn from these poor guys’ mistakes (coincidentally, all the failed proposals took place at sporting events — GUYS, STOP DOING THAT).
