There is nothing quite like Disneyland, and while I’m sure proposals happen there every day– this is one of my favorites. First, because the 60th Anniversary (Diamond Edition) is going on right now, and second because it’s with Mickey! I mean, come on, can you do it any better?

After taking a picture with Mickey, this young man drops to one knee and proposes. Mickey quickly moves out of the way, jumping up and down at the proposal. Afterward, he directs the couple on how to take some pictures with him and showing off the ring. Now, as wonderful as this proposal is for the couple– Mickey is the true pro here. He has to communicate through movements, and it’s so funny to watch the newly fianceed interact with him. It’s all part of the magic, am I right?

When proposing at Disneyland, please take note and do it with a character. Even if you don’t get to do it with the “main cheese” (because man that line can get horrendous), getting this kind of reaction is all anyone could wish for. Jumping up and down, pictures, charades– perfect!
