A Blue Ridge Montains Proposal

Chelsea & Charlie

The Proposal

Chelsea and Charlie had been dating for two years when Charlie decided to pop the question. To help pick his perfect proposal location, he used part of their past as inspiration.

Before they were officially a couple, they had gone hiking together in search of a big waterfall in the Blue Ridge Mountains. When they had failed in their search, they settled for a beautiful spot and still had a great time talking and getting to know each other. To them, the spot had significance. So Charlie took her to the same place again, now two years later. As they were enjoying the view, he asked her if she would like an apple. She said “no”, but he reached into his backpack anyway. Of course the ring was inside! That’s when he delivered a heartfelt speech about how they had come to the same spot two years earlier, and this time he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Then he asked the big question, and she of course said “yes!”

Afterward, they decided to see if they could actually find that elusive waterfall from long ago. Turns out, it was 200 yards away. They were so close two years ago, but now they were finally able to find it– and on their special day. Sometimes timing is everything, and for this happy couple, the timing and location couldn’t have been more perfect for their proposal. Congrats to the happy couple!
