How they met

Nadia and Michael met four years ago on Match.com. They realized they worked two blocks away from each other and have been taking the same train to work for years.

The proposal

Michael “stopped time” for Nadia’s proposal — literally! He rented out an entire restaurant on the Lower East Side and filled it up with actors who pretended to be customers. A spy person rigged the entire place with hidden cameras. Nadia was tricked into believing that she was going in for an interview with Ladies’ Home Journal (Michael also got a real reporter from that magazine to lure Nadia in). What resulted was one of the most elaborate proposals of all time. The best part: it was for Michael’s TV show pilot for WeTV.
