Mr. Yehouda Saketkhou, designer, founder, and CEO of YAEL Designs, began his entrepreneurial journey as a young boy in Paris. Growing up, Yehouda was exposed to the city’s rich culture, historic architecture, sculpture, painting, and fashion; it was this exposure that sparked a lifetime love affair with art’s limitless and timeless appeal.

His years viewing and experiencing European art provided the inspiration and drive that Yehouda used to begin his education and exploration in the fine technical skill of jewelry craft and design. At the age of 13, Yehouda moved to the United States, beginning an apprenticeship selling gold with his uncle. On most weekends, when other teenagers would race cars or play basketball, Yehouda was working on his craft, designing custom pieces for his uncle’s clients. From these beginnings, Yehouda then spent eleven years in retail and did a brief stint in wholesale. After many years he was finally able to return to his first love and passion — designing diamond jewelry.

YAEL Designs has been in business since 2001, with Yehouda bringing a lifetime of experience to his business. The company is located in beautiful downtown San Francisco, and, because of a solid foundation in design and craftsmanship, has established itself as a competitor among the industry’s best.
