Natalie’s boyfriend wanted a way to propose that was fitting of their relationship. So he decided convincing her to play The Legend of Zelda on the “original NES cartridge” was the way to do it.

Let me elaborate.

While Natalie  wasn’t looking, before they started playing, he switched out the original cartridge for an EverDrive cartridge. This means that her boyfriend, in all of his video-game-wisdom, worked his magic so when he played and beat the game– this would occur.

Since Natalie is a wedding photographer, her now-fiance couldn’t risk recording the actual moment because she would definitely have been suspicious. However, it’s confirmed that her response was, “Of course, stupid.”

That’s true love, folks.
