The best flash mob proposal of 2011

Wow! I just saw one of the best marriage proposals of the year and just had to share. As you know, I’m not one for public proposals, but if I was— boy, this is the standard I’d hold it to.

Last week Jamin Love proposed to his girlfriend and dance partner Valerie at the happiest place on earth—of course Disneyland!

Now after the infamous, fake Disney World proposal, I can understand why you’d be skeptical. But trust me when I say this couple is completely legit (in fact, you can find Youtube videos of the couple dancing for their dance company).

Being dancers, it’d only be appropriate for Jamin to pop the big question dancing, so he organized what he called a flash mob to the song “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. After watching the dancers like a tourist, Jamin joined in half way through and took center stage with killer moves.

This is not a traditional flash mob. There aren’t tons of people and the dance isn’t super cutesy and easy. Instead it’s SUPER AWESOME and definitely done by professional dancers.

But hey, if you can propose with professional dancers, why not?

The best part? Disney invited the couple back to the park for engagement photos. How cool is that?

Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Love (what a fitting last name).

On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate this “flash mob” proposal?

I think proposals are getting completely ridiculous in their attempts to say, “Look at me!” It won’t be long before people are sharing the beauty of birth online. It’s just nuts in my opinion. There’s very little that’s “special” between the two. No shared “just us” moment. I don’t get it…

WOW! This is by far the most innovative and original form of proposing that I have ever seen or heard of. Disney has found a great niche market to offer the soon-to-be engaged couples a chance to propose to the love of their lives in a very special and new way.
I also like the idea of making it into a viral campaign and promote the idea and program through youtube videos on blogs and etc.

Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Jamin Love!

We are contacted every day by guys who want to go big and public. I think it depends on the girl and the dynamic in the couple.

I have to say that there is nothing much stronger than the power of love. I was completely blown away by the song, the choreography, and the dancers! I could actually feel the energy in the air by just watching the video proposal on YouTube! This is exactly how I want to propose to my girlfriend who is currently in Shanghai and Want to learn the dance steps exactly, well at least until I found out that Mr. Love is a professional dancer… I am not and I don’t think anyone will have the patience to teach me…LOL!

Mr Love you were right on the money! Best Of Love, Life, and Wishes to you and your beautiful fiancee!!
