Item You Can’t Live Without: Wedding Ring or iPod?

ipod_wedding-ringSeems like an easy question, but according to a new Facebook survey the answer is not what you might assume. A new survey asked 500 people what was their most prized possession, according to Protectyourbubble.com. The iPod came out on top with 12 percent of the votes, while the wedding ring came in last place at a measly 1 percent.

The survey unfortunately didn’t take into account the demographics of their responders. Obviously an unmarried person will value their iPod over their wedding ring because they’re not married yet, but the results are still interesting nonetheless. Below are the complete survey results:

  • iPod 12%
  • Blackberry 11.5%
  • iPhone 10%
  • Laptop 9%
  • Dog 9%
  • Games console 8%
  • Macbook 7%
  • iPad 6%
  • Cat 5%
  • Camera 5%
  • Television 4.5%
  • Car 4%
  • Video camera 4%
  • Other jewelery 4%
  • Wedding ring 1%

I don’t think 16-year-olds have wedding rings yet, so needless to say they probably value their iPod more. Not a very accurate survey, I think.
