Yesterday it was revealed Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston were engaged…again. Bristol, daughter of former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin, was engaged to Levi throughout the 2008 presidential election. After the couple’s public split, both parties have had nothing but negative things to say about each other.

Which is why it’s such a huge surprise to see the couple, who have one son together, sitting on the couch in this video posted at Usmagazine.com looking happy and lovey dovey. In the video they talk about their romantic marriage proposal, which involved lots of flowers, rose petals and a teary Levi on one knee asking Bristol to marry him.

Is getting engaged a second time a good idea? We covered this topic back when Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green decided to get engaged again (even though they later denied the whole thing and said they’ve been engaged the whole time). Is it possible to give relationships a second shot, especially ones that end badly? What do you guys think?
