” I’ve always been somewhat of a song writer and so I knew I had to write her a song to propose with, because I had never wrote her a song before.”

“I told her I was going to work, when in fact I was going to pick up her ring.  I called her shortly before I got back and told her to come wait outside.  I pulled in the driveway and had her get in the car.  I had my proposal song loaded into the cd player.  She knew I had been writing a song but didn’t know what it was about.  I told her I had finished the song and wanted her to listen to it….all the time the ring is in my pocket throbbing.   At the end of the song it basically pops the question. but when the song finishes I pull out the ring and asked her for real.  As far as celebration, we basically spent the rest of the day looking at her ring in different lighting.”
