The Fun Couple: The Best Way to Pop the Question

You both have a reputation for just being really big kids. When it comes to dates, you’ve always preferred hot dogs to filet mignon and cotton candy to Baked Alaska.

The classic approach

Go on a Super Fun Date

Is the state fair in town? Do you have access to a theme park you love? Is there a playground nearby where the two of you often swing like kids at night? Take your sweety on the date of her dreams with junk food, and even prizes. Add an extra splash of charm by proposing in a photo booth at the end of your childhood-relieving date, presenting the ring in the last frame. There’s nothing like a snapshot of the actual moment your future wife says, “Yes!”

Modern Idea

Make Your own Game

Since you treat life like one big game, why not ask her to spend the rest of her life with you by playing one? Design your own game (board or card), and try to personalize it with things about the two of you if you want to be extra sentimental. Maybe even commandeer an old “The Game of life” board and make each square about your own personal love story. Then (after rigging her to win of course), give her a heartfelt speech about how fun she has made your life, and without her, everything would be dull. Not only has she won the game, bus she has won your heart. Then show her the ring!
