Cadet 1st Class Caleb Moore wanted to surprise his girlfriend with a proposal to remember. During parents weekend at the US Air Force Academy, Caleb asked his girlfriend, Lauren, to come and make sure to take pictures of his jump on to Stillman Field. What she didn’t know, was that others would end up with the most picturesque opportunities.
Caleb planned with his squadron leader and the rest of his team before stealing the show with his proposal. He also asked the parents for permission, and made sure everyone who was anyone was there to support their big moment. Instead of swooping in on a white horse, he took a different approach by jumping in and stealing the moment via parachute. Am I right?
Thankfully, Caleb landed in the right spot and was able to just about immediately drop to one knee and proposal. Can you imagine if the wind blew, or something else went wrong and threw him off course– therefore making the proposal a little more laughable rather than wonderfully dramatic? I guess it wouldn’t really matter. But luckily this wasn’t a comedic proposal at all, as it wasn’t intended to be.
