Marine Sergeant Arthur Rabago entered a contest to help him start his future with his girlfriend, Shayna Bradley, on the right foot. He wrote a letter saying why he wanted to propose to his lady and as a result won a Verragio engagement ring from Robbins Brothers San Diego and a wedding gown of his new fiance’s choosing.

He set the stage at MCAS Miramar’s Annual Ball Gown Giveaway where his girlfriend was picking out her gown for the Marine Ball. As she’s modeling her new dress on stage, her man grabbed the mic and poured out his heart in front of hundreds of onlookers. She of course said “Yes!”

And the best part? She got to pick out a FREE wedding dress afterward. Can you imagine picking out your wedding dress the same day you get proposed to?

We definitely wish this military couple all the happiness in the world!
