The Bachelor‘s Emily Maynard Hands Back Engagement Ring

It looks like Emily Maynard‘s $90,000 Neil Lane engagement ring is back in the hands of The Bachelor producers. The Bachelor winner, who got engaged to Brad Womack on the show’s finale earlier this year, was spotted around town ring-less, according to Us Weekly. A source also confirmed to the tabloid that the couple’s relationship is definitely kaput.

This isn’t the first time a Bachelor winner had to hand back an engagement ring. Vienna Girardi had to hand back her engagement ring as well. According to ABC producers, winners of The Bachelor must stay in their relationship for at least two years if they want to keep their engagement ring. If the couple breaks up before the allotted time period, the ring must be given back.

Which is a shame because Emily’s ring was the most expensive engagement ring in Bachelor history! Let’s hope the ring ends up with another equally deserving couple.
