A New Zealand couple were selected for the World’s Best Couple contest. We wrote about the event earlier when the contest was first announced. Kim Kardashian and jewelry designer Michael Hill have been promoting the event, most particularly the 22 carat princess cut engagement ring. The lucky couple, Cameron and Shariyah Morris, had to complete a series of 16 challenges to gain the most public votes.

According to their submission, the couple met when Shariyah relocated for a babysitting job. When Cameron, her travel agent, contacted her about travel arrangements, the two immediately hit it off. But the couple’s “meeting story” was just one of their challenges. The couple also had to upload their favorite photo, talk about their secret pet names for each other and pen a commitment contact.
