Soccer Proposal
Fabi and Sara met playing soccer in college, so Fabi wanted to work this into the proposal. Sara’s team always has scrimmages during practice, so Fabi volunteered to be a part of it. Then he “gracefully” trips/falls/injures himself. Everyone seems confused over his performance. Many of the girls seem like they’re having a hard time stifling laughs (since only one of the team members is included in the plan).
The first two minutes are really of Fabi lying on the ground. But if you want to see him fall, watch the first few moments and then skip on to around 2:10 when he arises quite suddenly and produces a ring.
Make sure to watch Sara’s reaction. Though she covers her face to hide tears, after a few hugs and kisses she promptly pushes him. I mean, if your boyfriend was lying there on the ground sobbing from a supposed injury, how would you feel when it turned out to be a gimmick?

Surprise Proposal at Griffith Observatory in Hollywood, CA
All Kristen ever wanted was to see the Northern Lights in Iceland. Riki went so far as to plan a trip for them to do just that, but the weather did not permit for it to happen. Talk about disappointment! Fast forward a little ways and Riki finds a show at the Griffith Observatory in Hollywood, CA that is featuring the Norther Lights!
He decides to tell Kristen they are going to see his uncle surf, and then something happens to prevent that from happening. He then just “happens to suggest” that they go to the observatory, when all along it was planned.
After the show they go to the roof to observe the skyline of Hollywood. Little does Kristen know that they are being filmed, and that Riki is about to drop to one knee (start at about 2:15 for his whole proposal).

I love that Riki really told absolutely no one that he was proposing. Kristen keeps trying to figure out if her friends knew, and is very surprised that Riki was able to keep it a secret for so long.

Carson Daly and Siri Printer Engaged!
Carson Daly is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Siri Printer. The couple of six years made rumors fly of a possible engagement when Porter was spotted wearing a diamond ring on, well, ya know– THE finger. Check out this picture!
Daly, former MTV VJ and current host on The Voice and face of the Orange Room on the TODAY show, already has two children, son Jack, 3, and daughter Etta Jones, 13 months, with food blogger Printer. The couple welcomed their latest addition to the family in September 2012.

Naya Rivera and Big Sean Engaged!
Naya Rivera (Santana on Glee) is engaged to now-fiance Big Sean! Just Jared was the first to break the news, and her rep confirmed it soon afterwards. Then Rivera stepped out a Latina magazine’s Hollywood Hot List Party sporting her new rock. Take a look at this thing!
Who would say no to that thing? Honestly!
The couple made their first appearance out together in April when they attended the premiere of the film 42 in Hollywood. But if you followed the rumor mill, they were linked together well before their debut.

Surprise Trip and Romantic Proposal
Paris really is the place of love. So many people seem to choose it as the place for their proposal, and boy did Adam go all out.
Adam tells Kristen they are going on a wonderful trip to NYC. He even presents her with fake Broadway tickets, travel brochures, a map, and more to make it seem as though this is where they are really headed. But it’s not.
Behind all of this, Adam is secretly planning a trip to Paris, and a proposal. The reveal of their actual trip is around 3:25. He makes her put on a beret and hands her a present, which she unwraps to find a Paris travel book and her passport. He has to reassure her that they are, in fact, headed to Paris. She then dances around on her own, and even an airport employee! I’d say he did a good job on the surprise.
The rest of the video is takes of their trip. Around 7:00, they are posing for pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower, and he drops to one knee. She starts crying (of course) and jumping up and down (again) and it’s probably the most precious thing ever.
Adam, you give ladies around the world hope for a romantic guy. Congrats!

Kimberly Perry of The Band Perry Engaged to J.P. Arencibia of Toronto Blue Jays!
The Band Perry singer is engaged to Toronto Blue Jays catcher J.P. Arencibia!
Arencibia, 27, proposed on the night of Monday, Sept. 30, at Kimberly’s parents’ home in Greenville, Tennessee.
According to The Tennessean, who was the first to report the news, Arencibia proposed to Perry underneath an oak tree in the yard of her parents’ home. It was the spot Perry had said when she was a teenager (now 30) she would like it to happen. Arencibia obviously did his research.
Romance is in the seams of this relationship, apparently. Arencibia arranged to meet Perry at a meet and greet back stage after one of her concerts. He had been an admirer from afar, thanks to her music videos and performances, and once introduced asked for her number. See how well that turned out?

(Fake) Teacher Training Proposal
John went all out when it came to proposing to Kelly. He told her he was going to California to shoot a movie for a couple of days. He even had her drive him to the airport… but a few minutes later a friend picked him up from the same airport. Then, with help from Kelly’s friends and coworkers, he set up a teacher training seminar that she was supposed to attend that was, of course, fake. Everyone else who attended were actors, and there were props and everything… until the presentation began, and it was a movie starring none other than John.
This whole proposal is worth watching. John went to great lengths to make it fun and creative, and included Kelly’s dad in the film and what we assume was him (John) asking for his (Kelly’s dad’s) permission to marry his daughter. However, if you want to skip ahead, John emerges after the video around 9:00 to do the actual getting-down-on-one-knee-bit.
If you watch the video and don’t laugh and cry, don’t judge me because I did both!

New Orleans X Factor Proposal
In New Orleans for Fox’s The X Factor, David and Lauren decided to compete and audition for the show. What Lauren didn’t know is that David had planned something extraordinary for her to make it special regardless of what the judges voted.
Around 6:10 of the video, after David and Lauren have both auditioned and David has already gotten a “no”, David comes on stage (much to everyone’s surprise) and pops the question to Lauren.
My favorite part of this was the judges reactions. All three women, of course, jump up and start clapping and cheering. Simon was sitting there with his usual smirk on his face, probably thinking something that he didn’t say in order to not spoil the moment.
I’d say watch the whole video just to experience the back story, and even to see David ask Lauren’s dad’s permission to marry her (around 1:40).

Kaley Cuoco Engaged!
Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco is engaged to her man of three months, Ryan Sweeting!
Cuoco and Sweeting began dating earlier this summer and made their red carpet debut at the Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday evening. The couple has been just about inseparable since early August. They’ve been spotted everywhere together, including getting mani/pedis!
Since the engagement came so suddenly, I wonder if the wedding will be just as quick?

Casey Wilson and David Caspe engaged!
Casey Wilson is engaged to David Caspe, creator of Happy Endings. Wilson showed off her new engagement ring at a pre-Emmys party in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Friday, Sept. 20.
Wilson reported to USWeekly that she got engaged over Labor Day Weekend the first night the couple spent in their new house. The engagement ring is a family ring from Caspe. He surprised her even more when her brother, dad, and his family joined them at the house to celebrate. Reportedly, everyone was crying (happy tears, of course!)
The couple worked together on the ABC series from 2011 to 2013. The critically adored but low-rated comedy was cancelled after its third season in May of this year.
