Hypnotizing Proposal
Darren and Christine have traveled to Toronto for some sort of magic convention and have been called on stage to be part of the hypnotists act. As he questions them, he finds out they’ve been together for six years. So he puts Darren under and checks with Christine about a proposal, clarifying that one has yet to happen. He decides to make a game of it, and tells Christine that he’s going to make Darren propose under the hypnosis, only to begin with Darren won’t be able to say the words to make it even more fun.
What Christine doesn’t realize, is as it progresses the proposal is actually happening. Darren must have called ahead or something, because there are pictures of the two of them with the words “CHRISTINE WILL YOU MARRY ME?” on them. Not until the hypnotist brings them on stage does Christine realize what’s happening, and of course she starts crying.
The proposal happens around 4:28, but you gotta watch Darren moo into the microphone without the correct words to begin with (starting around 3:30).
I love the crowd’s reactions. You can hear a woman go, “Oh, he’s serious!”
In case you missed the ending, she said yes.

NYC New Year’s Eve Proposal
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you had a wonderful New Year’s Eve and stayed safe. If your night was anything like this couple’s, then I know you had a super special night!
Zack and Hannah won Nivea’s Facebook contest to travel to NYC for New Year’s Eve. What Hannah didn’t know is Zack had something even more special in mind– a proposal in front of millions of people (when you take into account those present and TV viewers alike).
As soon as he says one more thing could make the night even better, Hannah clearly knew what was coming. This guy definitely took the right moment to propose!
Personally, I would have done like Zack and lost the hat as soon as he dropped to one knee, but that’s just me! What a wonderful way to end 2013!

Alaskan Pilot Proposal
You board your flight, watch the flight attendants direct you on safety, and wait for the pilot to let you know you’re getting ready to be on your way. What you don’t expect is for that pilot to call up a flight attendant, announce to the passengers she’s the love of his life, and propose at the front of the airplane. That’s just what this pilot did.
Luckily, Kari said yes. If she had said no, it may have been a rocky flight!
You can bet the passengers all wanted to get a look at the ring.

Nursing School Graduation Proposal
Mike wanted to do something extra special for Michelle’s graduation from nursing school. What could be better than proposing?
(OK… I can’t control it… check out the older woman’s face behind them. TOO funny!)
The fact that he did this with signs had me tearing up. I don’t know why, exactly, but something about this proposal really got to me. Maybe it was just how much emotion Michelle had.
I love her face when Mike finally drops to one knee. It really looks like she was already saying, “YES!”
I mean… who could say no to a proposal like this?

Christmas Eve Proposal
Dennis wanted a special proposal for Trinity. He knew family was important to her, so he got the word out that he wanted to do a proposal involving everyone. He put together a caroling project, they practiced the night before, and then they followed through with his plan.
Trinity was stunned. She had no idea what was going on and thought her mom had maybe put together a choreographed caroling special for them or something, but as the carolers parted and her two cousins finally moved aside, there was Dennis.
She first goes to hug him, until she realizes that he’s staying there on one knee. She was, as the video shows, truly shocked. What a wonderful Christmas surprise!

Dots Proposal
I have honestly never heard of this game, app… but Shawn knew it meant a lot to Cassie, so he e-mailed support and asked them if it was possible for Dots to make a game with a special message at the end. It’s how he wanted to propose. Dots, being wonderful, couldn’t find a reason to tell him no.
Cassie, at the end of it all, says Shawn was acting so weird. I’d believe it! I mean, if your boyfriend is suggesting you play a game that you like while you’re out on a date… that just seems off to me. I suppose there’s a smooth way to go about it, but, come on.
Once again, technology lends a hand… er… screen in helping with a unique and sweet proposal.

Mountain Top Proposal
Justin wanted to propose to Shannon somewhere beautiful with a winter wonderland atmosphere. He settled for the top of Sulphur Mountain in Banff, Alberta.
I really love that their video is from Justin’s POV. You don’t find many that’s actually recorded when it’s just the couple. There usually have to be gimmicks or hidden friends to pull this off.
Shannon’s reaction is the best. As Justin is still kneeling in the snow and all we see is the ring box, she’s covering her face and crying… but then suddenly the mitten on her left hand just happens to be off. Anyone notice that? She was ready to get that rock on her finger!

The Top 5 Celeb Proposals of 2013: Who Will Tie the Knot in 2014?
1 – Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
It was the engagement heard ‘round the Internet when mega reality star (and new mom) Kim Kardashian was given a 14-carat Lorraine Schwartz ring on her 33rd birthday from boyfriend Kanye West. The new parents will likely have a televised wedding sometime in 2014 – and since it’s a Kardashian, we can expect no luxury to be missed. (Maybe North will be the tiniest flower girl ever?!)

After developing a great brand for herself the past few years with books, crafting project and clothing, Lauren found an awesome dude to marry. Her boyfriend, law student William Tell proposed with a 2-carat diamond ring and Conrad told Cosmopolitan that she had no idea it was coming. How sweet!

Boxer Wladmir finally put a ring on his on-and-off girlfriend, Hayden in October. Though they have a large age (and height) difference, their passion is never lost in photos, kissing on the beach, cuddling on the red carpet. She confirmed the engagement and showed off her 4-carat engagement ring on Live with Kelly and Michael.
