I have been closely following the rise of emerging designer Hiba Husayni, whose brand Zahn-Z is part of the 2024 Luminaries by COUTURE mentorship program, an initiative led by the COUTURE Diversity Action Council (DAC). This program highlights a talented group of BIPOC designers, each presenting a unique array of imaginative designs and distinctive perspectives on the COUTURE show floor. Sponsored by De Beers, this exhibit promises to be a testament to the rich diversity and creativity within the jewelry industry.
Zahn-Z first captured my attention with the debut of her Gem Pop ring—a playful nod to the nostalgic ring pop candy, featuring interchangeable synthetic colorful gemstones. This innovative and whimsical design exemplifies Husayni’s knack for blending fun with fine jewelry, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting career.

Hiba Husayni continues to enchant with her exquisite and whimsical jewelry creations. Her latest addition, the BOWtiful band, lives up to its charming name, adding a touch of playful elegance to her collection. More recently, I found myself enamored with her Zaha and Rococo signature rings—two distinctive engagement ring designs perfect for women seeking something extraordinary.
