Alex and Brey are a competitive pair. They’ve been playing basketball against each other probably longer than they’ve been in a relationship. So when it  came to proposing, Alex clearly had to keep that in mind.

Brey and Alex are doing their usual thing : playing against each other surrounded by friends and family who know them and their “game.” When, out of nowhere, Alex falls to the ground like Brey had somehow pushed him. A couple friends rush over, and if you watch closely you can see the one behind him slip him the ring box. As they sort of assist Alex to stand, he stays on one knee and asks Brey “the question.”

I love this. It seems so true to their relationship. I mean, Brey jumps into, “Wait a second, that’s my ball!” right after. You go, girl. Whether or not the points added up, you know they both won that game.
