Announcing your Engagement via Video

 

Yesterday, Sara at 2000 Dollar Wedding suggested the idea of making a video engagement announcement to be uploaded to YouTube and then shared with friends and family (and the world). After all, thanks to modern technology, recording and uploading video is an easy and simple process that even the most average PC user can master. The only downside is trying to get grandma to click on a YouTube link that was pasted in her email. But otherwise, it can be a simple and eco-friendly way of letting everyone know you’re engaged.

Some couples have already started taking advantage of the “video invitation” trend. Check out this couple who made a stop-motion video as their wedding invitation:

But if you don’t have the time, vior if you’re not tech-savvy, you can easily create a simple slideshow set to music as a video, like what this couple did:
