Megan Fox and her now husband Brian Austin Green surprised everyone with their marriage in Hawaii last week after rumors the couple were engaged a second time. The rumors about the star losing her engagement ring at the beach was also later denied by Megan who later said the whole thing never happened. But one thing that is real? Her gorgeous new wedding ring! Check it out — the dainty band is a simple design covered in pave diamonds.

Getting engaged a second time

June 17th, 2010 by admin | Comments Off | Filed in Celebrity Couple News, Relationships

megan-fox-engagement-ringHollywood bombshell Megan Fox and her long-time boyfriend Brian Austin Green are engaged again after breaking off their engagement last year. While the gossip pages are painting the story as a publicity move to garner attention for Fox’s new movie Jonah Hex, we personally think the story sheds an interesting light on second time engagements in general. It takes a strong relationship to overcome the hurdles of broken engagement. And then, to be able to mend the relationship well enough to give it a second shot shows the couple has matured and emotionally grown.

It reminds us of a couple on the VH1 reality show Tough Love: Couples. The show, which took couples through a relationship “bootcamp,” had a couple who worked on mending their relationship after breaking off their engagement. The reason they called off the engagement was because of ongoing conflict the bride was having with the groom’s mother. On top of that, the groom said he was afraid of commitment despite the fact that he was already living with the bride-to-be (for several years now) and was helping her raise her children. Sounds like commitment to us!

Which brings us back to Megan Fox who appears to be in a similar situation. Fox, who is often pictured taking Green’s children to and from school, has lived with Green and been in a relationship with him for several years. Although we understand the kind of hardships a relationship goes through, if a couple is already essentially committed to each other, either by living together, raising children together or by simply being together for several years, why do they fear taking that next step? What’s the purpose for all the hesitation?

And besides the issue of commitment, when getting engaged a second time what do you do about the engagement ring? Do you recycle the previous engagement ring or purchase a new engagement ring? Unfortunately, for Miss Fox, she lost her engagement ring before she could even choke out an “I do.” The couple, who had a beachy proposal, lost the engagement ring in the sand. Whoops.

If Brian does find himself having to buy yet another engagement ring, we recommend this simple yet classic engagement ring that matches Fox’s laid-back, casual style.

Megan Fox thinks one night stands are “sick”

March 5th, 2010 by admin | Comments Off | Filed in Celebrity Couple News, Relationships

megan-foxYou might think actress Megan Fox is some kind of sex vixen, but the actress is a lot more conservative than you might think. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, Fox says sex without love is “sick.”

“I’ve only been with two men my entire life, my childhood sweetheart and [current beau] Brian [Austin Green],” she says. “I can never have sex with someone that I don’t love, ever. The idea makes me sick.”

Love and dating blogs for guys

June 16th, 2009 by admin | Comments Off | Filed in Relationships
From <a href=

From HubPages.

A few days ago I was put on a project to find relationship blogs targeted toward men. I assumed the task sounded easy enough, and right away I started digging through Google for blogs for guys.

Unfortunately, the search turned out to be a lot harder than I thought. Of course, the most obvious mistake I made in my search was looking for “relationship” blogs. Whether the guy is in a relationship or not, that word seems to act as some kind of repellent of some sort. So even though it might be the same content, if it’s targeted toward men it’s hidden under the veil of “love, dating or sex.”

OK, so that was my mistake. I’ll admit that. So I started searching for “love/dating” blogs for guys. The results? Tacky, cheap blogs (some that haven’t been updated in months, years) all targeted to “how to get the girl.” These blogs seemed more interested in landing the hot chick, how to be a ladies man and how to talk to girls if you’re an unattractive, socially awkward loser. Most of these sites and blogs also sold eBooks, which meant if you were actually interested in learning the 10 dating tips you would need to know to date Megan Fox, you would have to pay $19.99 for it.

So my question is: Why is there no good love/dating blogs for guys? I found a few nice ones on my hunt (I’m keeping those a secret for now), but they don’t seem to have a large audience. I guess I don’t really have much to say about the matter; I just think it’s strange is all. Anyone here know of any relationship blogs targeted to just men and men only?

Reuniting after a broken engagement

When you have two people who are open and willing to settle down and commit, when they break that bind it can be awfully hard to mend. That’s why on again/off again engagements are a rare case; one that seems to be treated with a raised eyebrow. People tend to advert their eyes and think, “OK, if they want to work it out, then so be it,” but what they’re really thinking is how the couple’s marriage is over before it even begins.

I started thinking more about this when I saw an article in Star about Transformers star Megan Fox and her former fiance Brian Austin Green. The two, who broke off their engagement in February 2009, are apparently renting a beach side home together to rekindle their waning romance. Is it a lost cause or should we encourage these couples? “Don’t give up, you can do it!”

But then I think of couples like drummer Travis Barker and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler who recently split again after reuniting after their divorce. Some couples are just pure toxic. They’re bad for each other and yet they keep diving head first into the toxic sludge thinking this time their hair won’t fall out (weird example, I know). The optimist in me wishes both Fox and Green good luck in their relationship endeavors, but the pessimist in me is mumbling, “Why bother?”

How to break an engagement Hollywood style

February 24th, 2009 by admin | Comments Off | Filed in Celebrity Couple News, Engagement, Relationships

megan-fox-brian-coxGet tips from the very sexy Megan Fox. She is now single and available as she gave the boot to Brian Austin Green, according to a report in Usmagazine.com. Which leaves us to wonder and ponder…do actors really fall in love or is there some kind of law of this very special Hollywood jungle? Once their partner is not helping you climb the Fame ladder, it does seem they quickly decide to move on. Or perhaps we’re being too caustic?

Both actors, who are choosing to focus on their careers, according to the website, met in 2004, got engaged in November 2006, and have tattoos of each others’ names on their bodies.

Fox is back on the big screen once again as Mikaela in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, due for a June release, while Green has been bolstering his resume as a regular on the TV series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
