You Can Get a Ring Made Out of Meteorite!

Our own planet is full of treasures, with precious metals and gemstones so stunning they almost seem to come from another world. But did you know that you could get a ring made out of meteorite? An actual material from outer space?

About 30, 000 years ago, during prehistoric time, a meteorite crashed in Nimbia. It was first discovered by the Nama people who used the precious metal to make tools. In 1838, it was identified as been from extraterrestrial origin. The beautiful fragments of the meteorite are appreciated both by collectors and jewelry makers.

Made exclusively from pieces of the Gibeon Meteorite, these Chris Ploof rings are made to last. The highly durable and extremely precious intergalactic material is cut, forged and fabricated, and then combined with platinum, gold or mokume gane to create beautiful (and comfy) rings.  Check out this selection of stunning wedding bands!

Framed into a wavy rolled platinum edge, the striking natural pattern of the meteorite brings a bold and raw style to this wedding band.

Tucked between three perfect lines of bright yellow gold, two strikes of gray but not dull meteorite creates a stunning bi-color ring.

No less than seven little diamonds enhance the beauty of a smooth and elegant meteorite ring, while yellow gold brings some glamour to the look.
