A Colorful Truck Park Engagement Session

How They Met

We met through a “Singles Gathering” at our church in Atlanta. During this specific event that was being held at a local food truck park, our friends introduced us. We hit it off immediately and started going on dates.

The Proposal

I decided to propose at Belvedere Castle in Central Park, New York. The main reasoning behind this location was the fact that she is obsessed with Disney. I thought the castle would bring a little magic to the proposal. I was on a business trip to New York before moving to the big city. Before the trip, I had already gotten her dad’s permission and bought the ring. We planned for me to stay in the city over the weekend and she would come up too. I decided to propose on the last day of the trip. She wasn’t expecting it. I woke her up early Sunday morning and we went to the park. While there, I took her to Belvedere Castle as she has never been. We were the only people at the castle that morning so it was even more romantic. While on the ledge at the bottom of the castle overlooking the lake, I told her how much she meant and if she would spend the rest of her life with me. She said yes! Little did she know, my cousin was taking pictures behind us the whole time so we have great response photos during it all.

The Engagement Session

We wanted a very raw and nature like setting and we chose The Goat Farm in west side Atlanta. We happened to see pictures of the location online and thought it would be a great place to have photos made. The photos turned out amazing due to the many “backgrounds” that were assessable.

The Engagement Ring

After seeing the ring, I knew it was the one for her. Since she is very unique and likes different things, it really goes with her style. The side of the band has a cool design that looks very vintage. The top; however, is very classic.
