How We Met

Our love story started long before Brittany and I met.  And when you think about it, most love stories start that way. Brittany and I both had bad breakups and ended up meeting through mutual friends.  The first time our eyes met we kicked it off instantly. We were pretty much inseparable. I knew she was the right one when she looked equally incredible in a dress or a t-shirt. We have now been together for 3 years and it has been great. Never a dull moment.

The Proposal

The proposal happened really quick.  I knew I wanted to marry her so I started looking at rings. When I came across the ring I knew was her, I bought it and planned the proposal within a week.   From there, I knew I wanted it to be something she would never forget, after all an amazing girl deserves an amazing proposal.  Her Grandfather passed away 2 years ago and had left her with beautiful property in Thomson, Ga.  I wanted to do something with the land but just didn’t know what.  It finally dawned on me of what to do so my buddy and I went up in a plane with his dad, Dr. Scott for a flight and I got the idea to write Marry Me on the property and fly over it. Within 3 Days, Dr. Scott, Matt and I flew over the property to get the pattern right. We then headed to the property loaded with spray paint and sprayed 16 ft letters on the ground.  On the day of the proposal, she thought we were going on her first ever plane ride. Little did she know there was a message awaiting for her… One she will never forget!

The Ring

The ring was bought from Crown Jewelrs in Augusta, Ga. Joel Conte was great and I recommend him to anyone who lives around Augusta, Ga.
