Beach Proposal Photo Shoot!

Anny and Aaron

How We Met

“We met years ago. Aaron had already made plans and arrangements to move to Belize. However, he told me he would wait for me and that after I finished college, I could move down with him. We did just that. Since, we have moved back to the states but we visit Belize every year.”

The Proposal

On our most recent trip to Belize, I was informed by our friend, Vivian, that there will be a photo shoot at the resort. She said they were updating the website and there would be real models but also needed extras. Without any suspicion, I said “Sure, ok!”   At the last second the “models” canceled and I was then asked to fill in.  As the photo shoot begins, the photographer directs us and poses us in certain ways. When it was time for the couples shots, the photographer poses me facing away from my fiancé.   At this time, my back was facing him, but we were still holding each others hand.  She told me to hold the position and she took some pictures.   And then she told me to “Now, look at A.C”.  As I turned to face my fiancé, I was confused to why was he kneeling down on one knee. And then the whole picture came together as I realized he was proposing to me. In his hand it was this beautiful ring. It took me a minute to realize what was going on. As everything came together in my head, I dropped to my knees and tears starts to flow. It was tears of joy. I was very surprised.  Little did I know, the whole photo shoot was a set up. It was a surprise of a life time and it would not have been possible if it wasn’t for all of our friends help.”

The Ring

“It is a Pear cut center stone with a unique band that is surrounded by little diamonds. Aaron had them add a halo around the center stone to showcase it more. I couldn’t be happier, its amazing. Pear cut diamonds are not easy to find and are not super popular so he had to search around a lot!”
