How They Met

“We met through mutual friends at a party. There was an instant connection from across the room and once we locked eyes it was as if no one else was even there. His laugh filled the room and melted her heart, while her smile made him weak at the knees.”

The Proposal

“The engagement took place last year on February 16, 2013. David set off early that morning to prepare the magical day that was about to unfold. While she thought he was out fishing with friends he had other plans. Many hands and many hearts worked together to make this a perfect moment for David and Elizabeth. Each clue sent Elizabeth and her closest friends on a city-wide scavenger hunt that revisited the sites of David and Elizabeth’s first kiss, first date and finally, the proposal. David posted his self-made LED signs in a nature preserve below an observation tower. The scene was a symbol of Elizabeth’s spirited personality and David’s background in technology and engineering coming together in this amazing labor of love. The best thing was, David set out to make sure the whole day was captured on video so it could be cherished forever. “

The Ring

“The engagement ring was purchased at Bailey Banks and Biddle. The designer is A Jaffe. The band weaves through one another around her finger while the top loops around the 1.5 carat diamond in the middle. It creates the shape of a beautiful flower.”
