An Obstacle Course Proposal

Alyssa & Skyler

How they met

“A couple of years ago, I worked at Chick-fil-A mopping floors and cleaning tables in the dining room. I saw this girl walk in and she immediately caught my eye. She said I had this ridiculous look of confusion and awe on my face, but I beg to differ. In a rushed manner, I brought this girl an ice cream and told her it was from her friend who worked there. Then I went back to work mopping tables until we closed shop.

After a week, we were convinced that this could be a cool friendship but nothing more. So in order to scare me off, she invited me over for dinner with the family (the first time to ever hang out together in person). Nervously anxious, I made my way over and enjoyed a phenomenal night with her. We simply talked about life and our opinions and even what we look for in a spouse.”

The Proposal

Skyler organized an obstacle course that they will have to go through together, tied up to each other, while surrounded by friends and family. After crawling into mud, water ans grass, getting covered in honey and toilet paper, and all sorts of absolutely awesome forms of hilarious torture, Skyler got down on one knee and pop the question! Of course she said yes!

The engagement ring

” The ring is 14K white gold and has a 1/2ct round diamond in the center. I purchased it from Zales. She gave me some hints, but she wasn’t super specific, so I had to go with my gut, but she loved it! I had other people, like her mom or my sister, fish for hints from her, but when it came down to it, I picked it out myself.”
