The Proposal

Ciara got home late from work, and Zach led her through the house on a post-it scavenger hunt! In the bedroom he had laid out a beautiful dress and jewelry and shoes for Ciara to wear. The post-its led her outside and she then had to climb a ladder onto the roof! Zach was there with candles, roses, music, and the starlight. He told Ciara that he had wanted to propose on the top of Mt. Fuji, but said that this was a reminder that things don’t always happen like we expect, but as long as we’re together it will be perfect! Then he got on one knee and asked Ciara to marry him, to which she replied: “mmhm!!!!” Then after crying and hugging and kissing she said, “wait, did I say yes!?” Zach: “yes you did!”

The Engagement Ring

Ciara and Zach designed the ring together! It’s a .91 carat cushion cut halo ring with antique filigree and garnet stones under the main diamond on either side. Garnet is Zach’s birthstone, and they represent passion, love, and power.
