A surprise proposal at the park

Andy-and-Kristina-1lThe proposal
Kristina surprised Andy with a trip to Boston for his 30th Birthday, but the surprise turned out to be Kristina’s after all. Andy made reservations at Carmen’s, an amazing, rustic tiny red brick Italian eatery. During their first day in Boston it rained all day, but Andy’s plans were all outdoors so they walked in the rain — it was fun! They even stopped by to have a drink at the replica of Cheers.

The next day it was sunny and beautiful, and they were off to Boston Commons for a ride on the famous Swan boats. They were standing on a quaint little bridge over the lake when suddenly Andy was down on his knee asking Kristina to marry him! Then he pointed down to the photographer below who was taking pictures. He had thought about everything, even arranging for a photographer, and it went off without a hitch! The photographer even had them reenact the proposal at a giant statue in the park. Just as the photographer was about to capture the moment, a small tourist group of elderly Asian ladies came around the statue and saw what was happening. They all began smiling and waving their arms excitedly above their heads and shouted in unison: “Say yes, say yes!” And the rest is history!

…This made me cry (tears of joy, of course). I am Andy’s sister Jacque, and Kristina’s soon to be sis. Andy couldn’t have asked a more beautiful person- inside and out, to spend the rest of his life with him. My husband and I are so happy for them and we’re sending a “BIG WELCOME” to Kristina into our family!

I am so extremely happy for Kristina and Andy! They are the perfect couple. I work with Kristina and she is an amazing young lady. She is intelligent, beautiful, sweet, professional, and has a positive character. I couldn’t be more happy and love the way Andy arranged for the proposal. My best wishes to them both!
