Q: so i been with my bf for 2 months im only 17 , but i really love this guy with everything i got in me and i wanna marry him, of course id never mention that to him , im afraid and yet everyone says im too young but ive never felt any of these feelings before ,. i love him with all my heart. and hes afraid of marriage , thats the part i fear most. what if he never asks me , i mean i know love waits but im soo excited for that day , and no he isnt 17 hes older than me a few years
A: That is so sweet and romantic. Enjoy your relationship but two months, no matter what your age is, is way too soon to really know a person and to get married. So enjoy your great relationship as it is, and see you in a couple of years!

The fact you’re 17 and worried about no proposal after 2 months speaks volumes about the fact you’re simply not mature enough to sustain a marriage. It’s a serious, lifelong commitment that you shouldn’t enter into lightly.
You have to spend enough time with a person to not only know that you feel strongly about them, but that you’ll still love them after the first time he deeply disappoints you, because, being human, he will. Real love is something that has been tested and endures, and you can’t afford to find that out only after you’re married.
