Q: I need a creative proposal idea. I don’t want to do something boring, like propose over dinner or something, but my girlfriend is kind of plain/shy and wouldn’t want a big, showy proposal. So what ideas you got?

It should definitely be intimate, but I would suggest to not have it in a public place. If you are both outdoorsy types maybe a picnic in a private area would be a good idea. Another idea is to have it at a beach or a clearing in a forest. As long as it’s a place that’s private and means something to the both of you, then it would be the perfect proposal location.

Just because she’s shy doesn’t mean the proposal has to boring. A creative proposal idea is to maybe take her out in public and have 10 of your friends (maybe friends she doesn’t know) and have them come up to her and hand her a rose. Then while she’s looking confused, you can turn to her and propose! I saw a video of a guy who did something similar to that. I don’t think that’ll embarass her, and it’s better than some proposal in a park or something.
