GUMUCHIAN was founded in the late 70s by Anita Gumuchian who felt there was a need for fine European jewelry in the United States. Daughters Myriam and Patricia, while in college, loved the idea of joining their mother in this new project: making classic, elegant pieces for the U.S. market.

The Gumuchian team recently patented a new design for bridal — The Twinset Collection: The diamond studded prong collection, which was premiered during Jewelry Fashion Week.

“The perfect look for a trend conscious person who wants something totally new,” Myriam Gumuchian told Engagement 101. “It will appeal to someone who appreciates classic elegance as well as someone who wants ‘bling bling’.”

With the Twinset collection you get the best of both worlds — tiny full-cut diamonds in the prongs surrounding stones that range in size from 7 pointers to 50 pointers in the wedding bands. Enhancing the sparkle, this new and unique setting technique has been successfully received by fine jewelers and new brides across America.
