Magician Proposes With Alphabetty Spaghetti Trick

Neil Henry is a magician of many talents, and he decided to work his proposal into one of his shows. After downing a wine glass full of “alphabet spaghetti” and a string, he asks for a volunteer from the audience and sneakily brings his girlfriend on to the stage. You can tell she doesn’t want to be there at first, because she keeps giving him a look like, “I’m gonna kill you.”

But I’d say it works out in her favor.

Neil starts to gag, and then tells her to stand by the microphone. He starts spitting out letters one by one, and once it gets to “R”  (following “M” and “A”) she realizes what’s going on, and it includes a swear word for surprise. She keeps saying, “You’re not,” along with other words. So when he finally finishes spitting them all out, she’s covering her mouth and tearing up.

As if that wasn’t enough, after spitting the pasta-letters out on a string, he drops to one knee, lights a piece of paper on fire, and VOILA– there’s the ring box. He tells her, “Having you in my life is the real magic.”

Can we all pause for a single-tear moment here?

I’m not so sure about the spitting-out-pasta proposal, but I’d call this a true success just the same.
