With Star Wars VII approaching, there’s no way to diminish the excitement of the force. So if you feel like celebrating this fandom with your sweetie, here are a couple proposal ideas to keep it in the galaxy far, far away….

1. A Droid for her finger. There’s nothing more romantic than giving her R2D2 as an engagement ring, am I right? This gorgeous one can be found on Custom Made and isn’t out of this world with its price, either!

2. Movie Marathon! What better way to get rid of the Monday blues than to opt for an all-nighter with Episodes I-VI? I know, I know… 1-3 aren’t the best… but you have to get into the spirit to prep for Episode VII! Snuggle up with your light sabers and yoda impressions and when Han and Leia are having a moment, create a moment for the two of you and propose!

3. Quotes, please. Use a favorite quote from the movie to propose and see if she catches on! If not, have a special stuffed Yoda or something to go with the ring so she catches your drift. “Do or do not, there is no ‘try’.” I DO!

4. Fantasy. Does she have a favorite scene, or moment, or…er… role-play from the movie? Dress up as her favorite hero (even if that means putting on some fur) and let her know just how much she means to you before pulling out that ring for your proposal!
