Darren told Leann they were just going to a special rooftop bar for a quiet drink. If you call renting an exclusive space in London and filling it with 70 singers “quiet”, then I guess she wasn’t very surprised.

Did you catch the sarcasm there?

I love that Leann is a little thrown off by the atmosphere. When they first arrive, she’s almost downing the bar, telling Darren how strange it is and the waitresses’ attire is. And when the first man starts singing (2:00), she has no idea. However, around 2:50, Leann starts to realize that it’s all for her.

As the first song comes to an end, Darren gets down on one knee (4:00) and asks Leann to spend the rest of her life with him in front of everyone present. She says yes, and you notice that everyone celebrates as they wipe away some stray tears.
