Kirby is a do-gooder that helps kids in OK get pumped for reading. She raises money for a local kids shelter to donate books, and tries constantly to do good things for the school she works at. She also travels to kids homes to help them with their reading.

So, in other words, she’s a saint. And she’s the sweetest (at least, that’s how she comes across).

Ellen had her on the show once as receiving a surprise, and then she got to actually be in the show. If you skip to about 3:45, Ellen asks Kirby if she’s single, and then around 4:00 her boyfriend appears.

Kirby is already over the moon to be a part of the show, and then when Jason proposes, she’s pretty much blown away. I think it may help that at the end they’re given $10,000 to JC Penny for their wedding registry.

Who can not love a proposal on The Ellen Show?
