Would you fake an engagement?

I’m not going to lie. At one point, I totally faked our engagement before Addison officially popped the question. The reason? We wanted to go to a bridal show at one of the venues I was dying to see. They only held the show once a year so it was our only shot of seeing it at a reasonable time before we were engaged.

However, now some girls are faking engagements who are SINGLE– and no, it’s not because they’re trying to drive away the creepers with fake engagement rings.

Twilight fans everywhere are flocking to bridal salons for a shot to try on Bella’s wedding dress from Breaking Dawn, which has already been replicated for wedding season. Alfred Angelo designed the replica at the amazingly affordable price of $799, which is attracting many fans who are bride-to-bes. But with bridal salons putting up cardboard cutouts of dream fiance Edward Cullen, it’s no wonder fake brides are emerging everywhere as young as high school age.

I just hope the workers at such salons aren’t getting too frustrated with all their fake bridal appointments. I know I’d probably be a little peeved myself.

What do you think: Would you ever fake an engagement? What would your reason be?

I have worn a fake engagement ring to keep men from hitting on me while bartending. Faking an engagement…no
