Although it’s only been a few hours since we arrived in Vegas, we have already started to notice a steady stream of new trends emerging from this year’s Jewelry Fashion Week. From clusters to cushion shaped halos, this year everyone seems to be focusing on affordability. Brides who want a large, dramatic engagement ring can opt for a cluster ring instead, like this gorgeous yellow diamond cluster by Allison-Kaufman (above), which has the same bling as a large center stone without the Kim Kardashian price tag. Below are some more highlights:
This bold ring from Odelia is more fashion than bridal but showcases the emerging trend of clusters.
Here’s another affordable trend: cushion shaped halos. A round diamond will always be cheaper than a fancier cut diamond, so getting a round diamond with a cushion shaped halo gives the look of a cushion shaped diamond without the additional price. This engagement ring is by JudeFrances.
Rose gold is another big trend this year. Allison-Kaufman has an entire rose gold bridal collection that can be mixed and matched or stacked with their popular wedding bands.
Rose gold is also big for men’s wedding bands too, but Furrer-Jacot prefers to call them “red” gold.
Danhov‘s new Abbraccio collection is another one we love. Their swirly designs are perfect for brides who want something a little unconventional but still traditional.
Round Brilliants are always more expensive than fancy cuts (cushion, oval, pear, princess, etc). They are more in demand. This is good for someone who already has a round that would like a cushion look, though.
