As I was watching a romantic movie with my BF , I got to wonder… What are the best romantic movies of all time? An Affair to remember? Gone with the wind? Here is what the American Film Institute has to say . I’ll tell you later if mine made the cut! Did yours?
1. “Casablanca” – Love the movie, the romantic plot is too dramatic and complicated for me to identify.
2. “Gone with the Wind” – OHHHH Rhett!
3. “West Side Story” – Good show yet story not so original , Romeo and Juliette? anyone with me?
4. “Roman Holiday” – That I agree, Audrey Hepburn is amazing and the views of Rome are a delight.
5. “An Affair to Remember” – Also one of my favorites and obviously the inspiration of Sleepless in Seattle.
6. “The Way We Were” – I cry when I hear Memories , one of the best song ever written. I would say that both the song and the story are very realistic.
7. “Doctor Zhivago” – Great movie but the guy cheats on his wife so well , not my cup of tea when it comes to great love stories.
8. “It’s a Wonderful Life” – For me it is more about family and the human condition
9. “Love Story” – Now that’s another tear jerker!
10. “City Lights” – Have not seen this one,oops!

I think Ghost, When Harry met Sally, Titanic belong to the top 10 . And my all time favorite WALL-E
